FAQs

Who needs to register?

Every individual attending CMLS Open House must complete their own registration. Registrations may not be shared or split between attendees. This includes members, non-members, sponsors (including exhibitor staff), Board directors, speakers, and staff.

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes! You can transfer your registration to another person within your organization until September 3, 2026. To do so, email conference@councilofmls.org with the subject line “TRANSFER REGISTRATION.”

Resale of tickets is not permitted, and transfers will only be accepted within your organization.

What if I want to purchase tickets now, but am unsure who will attend?

Not a problem! Simply use a placeholder for the name during registration: Attendee 1, Attendee 2, Attendee 3, etc. You have until September 3, 2026, to assign the registration. When you determine who from your organization will use the ticket, email conference@councilofmls.org with the subject line “TRANSFER REGISTRATION” and we’ll update the record.

  • Cancel on or after August 3, 2026No credits or refunds will be issued.
Credits may be applied toward future primary CMLS events through December 31, 2027 (excluding add-on or ancillary events).

Will CMLS offer a virtual option for Open House 2026?

No, CMLS will not be offering live streaming or virtual attendance for the 2026 Open House.
We believe the greatest value comes from being present in the room—building connections, collaborating in real time, and engaging directly with MLS leaders. Our attendees overwhelmingly support and appreciate this in-person experience.

Can I record sessions or stream the event?

No. Recording, photography, or live streaming of sessions or activities is strictly prohibited unless authorized by CMLS.

What code of conduct applies?

All attendees must follow the CMLS Code of Conduct, Antitrust Policy, and any posted conference guidelines. CMLS may deny entry or remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, unethical, or inappropriate.
